Launching Our Smart Bike Parking Pilot at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Shopping Centre

Join our pilot in one of the most cycle-friendly areas in London

We’re excited to announce the launch of an expanded pilot programme for our smart bike parking docks, starting Thursday, 17th October 2024. In collaboration with SHIFT, London’s innovation catalyst, we are bringing our innovative smart bike docks to key locations across Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and Westfield Shopping Centre, providing cyclists with secure, convenient parking options in one of the city’s most forward-thinking and cyclist-friendly areas.

      About the Pilot Programme

Over the next three months, we will be installing a total of 20 smart bike docks across five strategic locations:

      Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park:

      • London Aquatics Centre: 4 docks

      • Timber Lodge: 3 docks

      • Copper Box Arena: 3 docks

These docks are designed to offer a seamless and secure parking experience. Operable through the MOSA app, users can easily lock and unlock their bikes with just a few taps on their phones. Our docks are battery-powered, weather-resistant, and built to ensure maximum security, aiming to make urban cycling more accessible and hassle-free.

      Pilot Duration

      • Start Date: Thursday, 17th October 2024

      • End Date: Friday, 17th January 2025

      Why This Matters

Cycling is an essential part of sustainable urban transport, and we believe that secure, easy-to-use bike parking is crucial to encouraging more people to cycle. By expanding our pilot to include Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, we are testing our system in a range of urban settings, from park locations to busy retail areas. This larger-scale trial will help us gather comprehensive feedback, allowing us to refine and enhance our smart bike parking system to meet the diverse needs of the cycling community.

      How to Get Involved

If you’re cycling through Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park or visiting Westfield Shopping Centre, keep an eye out for our docks at the listed locations. You’ll find clear signage with instructions on how to use the docks and participate in the pilot. For more information, visit www.mosa.to/dock-trial to learn how you can be a part of this innovative project.

We’re excited to see how our smart bike parking system will transform the cycling experience across these high-traffic locations and look forward to engaging with the cycling community throughout this trial.

Join us on this journey towards smarter, safer, and more sustainable urban mobility!
